Learned advocate for the petitioner submits he had entered into an agreement with the de facto complainant to transfer the vehicle. He has paid a sum of Rs.3.74 lakhs to the de facto complainant. Accordingly, he prays for anticipatory bail.

Learned advocates for the State and de facto complainant submit he is the registered owner of the vehicle. 3.

We have considered the materials on record. De facto complainant had entered into an agreement to transfer the vehicle to the petitioner. He has paid a substantial amount in respect of the said arrangement. Vehicle is in his possession. Signed By :

Under such circumstances we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner subject to condition.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/-, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and also be subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and on further condition that he shall not transfer the vehicle to any third party without the leave of the trial court. He shall appear before the jurisdictional court and pray for regular bail within a period of four weeks from date.
