Learned senior Counsel for the petitioner submits he is a medical practitioner. It is also submitted he had no role to play in the catering business of his father, the principal accused. Principal accused has been granted regular bail. He prays for anticipatory bail.

Learned Counsel for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record.
Petitioner's father entered into a catering contract with the de facto complainant to supply food for 550 persons on the occasion of her daughter's marriage. He failed to do so. Criminal case was registered against him and his son. Petitioner had no role in the aforesaid business activity. Signed By :

Principal accused i.e. his father is on regular bail. Under such circumstances we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/-, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and also be subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and on condition that he shall appear before the jurisdictional court and pray for regular bail within a period of four weeks from date.
