The petitioner after transfer from Keunta High School, District - Paschim Burdwan is now working as an Assistant Teacher of Bhulanpur High School (H.S.), District - Bankura. On transfer the Treasury of the Burdwan-I transferred the amount lying in the Provident Fund Account of the petitioner to the Treasury Bankura with admissible six months interest. However, there was delay in transferring the Provident Fund account of the petitioner.

The petitioner is paying interest for the delay in transmission of the amount of his Provident Fund.

There is nothing on record to suggest that the delay complained of was caused due to the laches of the State authorities. The petitioner has been awarded the admissible interest.

The petitioner is not entitled to any further interest as prayed for.

W.P.A. 2805 of 2022 is dismissed without any order as to costs.
