Petitioner submits victim housewife committed suicide at the matrimonial home. Petitioner has been falsely implicated. He is in custody for 45 days. Accordingly, he prays for bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner was a former lover of the victim lady. Victim married to another person. Even after marriage, petitioner pestered the victim to continue the relationship. When she declined, he threatened to disclose their intimate pictures and informed her husband. This resulted in torture on the victim at her matrimonial home and the victim committed suicide. The aforesaid facts disclose role of the petitioner in blackmailing the victim after marriage which led her to commit suicide.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
