The State and the private respondents are represented through respective Counsel.

As per the report of the Assistant Registrar VIII (in-charge) dated 4th April, 2023, the service is not yet complete.

The petitioner, in a nutshell, prayed that the respondents be commanded for restoration of the nature and character of a 'Khal' situated at Dag No. 525/790, J.L. No. 023, Mouza - Bazar under Police Station - Mathurapur, District - South 24Parganas. 5.

Since nobody entered appearance on behalf of the petitioner, it appears that the petitioner's grievance is either redressed or the petitioner lost his interest in the matter. Thus, we deem it proper

to dispose of this petition by observing that if the petitioner is still aggrieved by the inaction in relation to the same cause, it may prefer detailed representation before the concerned Block Land and Land Reforms Officer (BL&LRO) along with a copy of this order. In that event, it will be lawful for the said authority to consider and decide the representation in accordance with law by giving an opportunity of hearing to all concerned parties. 6.

With the aforesaid observation and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case the PIL is disposed of.
