Petitioner/de facto complainant is aggrieved as her application under Section 173(8) of the Code of Criminal Procedure is pending for a considerable period of time. It has been brought to the notice by this court that the chargesheet has already been submitted and the next date has been fixed on 5th March, 2024 by the learned ACJM, Baruipur in connection with the Baruipur P. S. Case No. 2015 of 2021. The learned ACJM, Baruipur is directed to dispose of the application under Section 173(8) of the Cr.PC within a period of sixty days from the next date so fixed i.e., 5th March, 2024. The learned Magistrate will be at liberty to fix as many number of dates as he thinks fit and proper to hear out the parties but will not stretch the timeline beyond 6th May, 2024. With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 528 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of. All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this
