Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submit that Sinthee Police Station Case No. 1/2018 dated 02-01-2018 was registered on 02-01-2018 against the present petitioners since then the petitioners are suffering the ordeal of criminal proceedings. Learned advocate submits that although chargesheet was submitted almost five years ago and charge being already framed, but till date the evidence of the witnesses has not commenced. Having considered the time period which has elapsed in the meantime, I direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th court, Sealdah to fix at least one date in a month for the purposes of the present case being G. R. Case No. 24 of 2018. No unnecessary adjournments be granted to any of the parties. In case there is any resolution of the local Bar, the learned Magistrate will not stall the proceedings and will continue with the evidence of the present case. The learned Public Prosecutor appearing in the case would produce the materials, documents and

exhibits on the dates fixed for examination of the witnesses concerned. All efforts be taken by the stake-holders to conclude the trial at the earliest.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 525 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of. All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. [Tirthankar Ghosh, J]
