1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The petitioner filed the instant writ petition seeking a direction upon the respondents to consider his application for extension of one year static tenure of posting.

3. During the pendency of the writ petition, the authority rejected the prayer of the petitioner and communicated the same vide communicating letter dated 13th February, 2026.

4. The petitioner is aggrieved by the same.

5. As the cause of action for filing the instant writ petition no longer survives, the instant writ petition stands disposed of with the observation that it will be open for the petitioner to challenge the rejection dated 13th February, 2026 by filing fresh petition in accordance with law, if so advised.

6. Parties to act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
