A report has been filed by the District Magistrate, South 24 Parganas wherein copy of the orders dated June 6, 2023, June 8, 2023, July 14, 2023 and July 18, 2023 are annexed.

It appears therefrom that the District Magistrate was of the opinion that the petitioner would be entitled to the subsequent installment for construction of the house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Scheme. Direction was passed for releasing the installment due. In terms of the aforesaid direction Pujali Municipality disbursed a sum of Rs. 60,000/- only in favour of the petitioner.

The petitioner shall utilize the aforesaid sum for construction of the house. The Municipality shall release further installment in favour of the petitioner after

taking note of the fact whether the money disbursed in favour of the petitioner was properly utilized or not and subject to his entitlement in terms of the scheme. The writ petition stands disposed of.
