The allegation against the petitioner is under Sections 366/370 of the Indian Penal Code. These are serious allegations.

We have seen the material in the case diary including the statement of the victim girl, 26 years old, recorded under Section 164 of the Code. The victim girl vividly narrated what she was subjected to and how she was duped and lured away for the purpose of trafficking.

This is not a fit case where we should extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. CRM No. 1298 of 2021 is, thus, dismissed.
