The petitioner has challenged in this revisional application the order dated 29.10.2018 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Barrackpore in connection with Barrackpore Women Police Station Case No. 103 of 2016 dated 16.09.2016. Before this Court, the petitioner has restricted his submission that the documents and copies under Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure which have been relied upon by the prosecution in order to prove its case were completely not served upon him. Rest of the prayers has been abandoned by the petitioner. In view of such innocuous prayer, this Court feels that a direction is required to be passed for supervision regarding the issue of completeness in supplying of the copies which the petitioner is entitled to receive in order to effectively participate in the trial.

Mr. Madhusudan Sur, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears for the State, is directed to appear in this matter and represent the State. His appointment may be regularized by the concerned authorities.

Mr. Sur is directed to communicate the Officer-inCharge, Barrackpore Women Police Station who would scrutinise whether all the documents have been supplied to the petitioner. If the same have not been supplied, make arrangement for the same so that the same are supplied to the petitioner. A compliance report to that effect be filed with the learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Barrackpore. With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 265 of 2019 is dispose of. Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.

All pending connected applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
