Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the other co-accused were enlarged on bail by the jurisdictional Court. He submits that there is hardly any injury suffered by the victim. Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the contents in the case diary and to the statements recorded under Section 161 of the Criminal Procedure Code and the injury report.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM (A) 834 of 2022, is rejected.
