The application for anticipatory bail has been filed apprehending arrest in connection with Phoolbagan P.S. Case No.17/2020 dated 6.2.2020 under Sections 498A/307/506(2)/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 3/ 4 of the D.P. Act. The petitioner is the husband of the victim. It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the other coaccused have been granted bail by the Court below. After consideration of the entire records and having heard the submissions, the Court below is of the view that custodial interrogation of the petitioner may be necessary for the purpose of the investigation. In the above circumstances and considering the case as a whole, this Court is of the view that the application for anticipatory bail cannot be entertained and the same is hereby rejected. CRM 1303 of 2021 is accordingly dismissed.
