The learned counsel for the petitioner files a copy of the Death Certificate in respect of the petitioner Mrinal Kanti Sirkar showing that the petitioner has expired on 20.9.2022.

There is no representation on behalf of the opposite party no. 2, and as such, as the State is opposite party no. 1 in this case, Mr. Bibaswas Bhattacharrya, learned advocate present in Court today is appointed to represent the State in this case.

Let his appointment be regularized by the learned Public Prosecutor, High Court, Calcutta.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has expired, the present revisional application has become infructuous. There is no further prayer for proceeding with the case by his legal representatives.

Accordingly, the criminal revision stands disposed of being infructuous.
