Santosh Singhi v. Sanchita Chatterjee & ORS
20.01.2021 SL No.10 Court No.12 (gc) FMAT 93 of 2019 With CAN 1 of 2019 (Old No: CAN 1185 of 2019) With CAN 2 of 2019 (Old No: CAN 1186 of 2019) Smt. Santosh Singhi Vs.
Smt. Sanchita Chatterjee & Ors.
(Via Video Conference) Mr. Rishabh Karnani, Mrs. Sweta Gandhi Murgai, ...for the Appellant.
In a suit for specific performance, a prayer for adinterim order of injunction was refused on 20th August, 2018.
We have been informed by the learned Advocate for the appellant that the suit was dismissed for default. In the meantime, an application for restoration was filed and we have been informed that it is pending. In any event, having regard to the fact that the ad-interim order was refused almost two years back, we feel that there is no reason to interfere with the order passed.
The appeal and the applications, accordingly, stand disposed of.
We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of the matter.
