1. This revisional application seeks expeditious disposal of Title Suit No.268 of 2013 pending before the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), 2nd Court at Barasat, North 24-Parganas.

2. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner invites the attention of this Court to an order dated January 24, 2023 passed in CO 3670 of 2022 whereby a Coordinate Bench of this Court had requested the learned Trial Court to make every endeavour for expeditious disposal of the pending application as well as the suit preferably within a period of one year from the date of communication of such order. It is submitted that despite such order, the suit is still remains pending.

3. In view of the nature of the order proposed to be passed, prior service of the revisional application along with a notice is not being directed, however, the petitioner shall remain obliged to serve a copy of the revisional application along with a copy of this order upon the opposite party within a week from date.

4. Having heard the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner and having considered the material on record, this revisional application is disposed of by requesting the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), 2nd Court at Barasat, North 24-Parganas to dispose of Title Suit No.268 of 2013 as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of eight months from the next date fixed without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

5. The learned Trial Court is requested to kindly ensure that the petitioner is not required to approach to this Hon'ble Court again with the same request for expeditious disposal of the suit.

6. With the aforesaid observations, CO 461 of 2026 stands disposed of. No costs.

7. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied as expeditiously as possible. (Om Narayan Rai, J.)
