The Investigating Officer of the case is personally present in Court today.

Counsel for the State, Mr. Banerjee, has placed a report of the Police dated 22nd February, 2023. This Court, at this stage, cannot come to any conclusive finding on the cause of death of the petitioners' son. The investigation has not been completed as yet.

It is ordered that the Police shall complete investigation in respect of subject FIR within a period of one month from date mandatorily and positively. In the event the petitioners are aggrieved by the report in final form that may be filed by the Police, steps may be taken in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
