... for the Petitioner(s) Mr. Partha Pratim Das Ms. Suparna Chatterjee ... for the State-respondent(s) Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in custody for six months and they have been implicated on the basis of statement of the co-accused who were apprehended by the investigating agency. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail but is unable to refute the contentions that there has been no recovery from the present petitioners; any call data records relating to the present petitioners and, there is no money trail so far as the present petitioners are concerned. Having considered the period of detention of the present petitioners and their complicity, I am of the view further detention of the present petitioners is unwarranted.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is Allowed.

Accordingly, the petitioner viz, Md. Salam Sk. & Nakim Sk. shall be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand only) each, with two sureties of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Learned CJM, Malda.

If on bail, the petitioners shall make themselves physically available on each and every date so fixed by the learned trial court and shall not leave the district of Malda without prior intimation to the learned Special Court or the court in seisin of the case.

Accordingly, CRM(NDPS) 277 of 2026 is allowed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. Report submitted be kept with the record.
