It transpires from the report submitted by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Staterespondents that there is no suitable land available in the districts of North 24-Parganas and South 24-Parganas and such land is available under the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Udaynarayanpur in Plot No. 6462, MouzaShibpur, J.L.No. 18, P.S. Udaynarayanpur which is about 50 kms away from Kolkata.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that the petitioners agree to accept the said land by virtue of a lease.

In view of the same, the respondents are directed to take necessary steps for execution of the deed of lease in favour of the petitioner no. 1 in respect of the said plot in question within six months from the date of communication of this order, in accordance with law.

With the above observations and directions this writ petition is disposed of.

The connection application being CAN No. 1 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly.

There shall be, however, no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
