Raziuddin ..for the petitioner Mr. Lalit Mohan Mahata Mr. Prasanta Behari Mahata ..for State It appears that the Division Bench of this Court, by an order dated November 9, 2022, declined to grant any relief concerning the petitioner's monthly remuneration by applying Government Notification No. 1107-F(P), Howrah, dated February 25, 2016, issued by the Principal Secretary, Government of West Bengal.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, however, submits that, by referring to the representation dated January 9, 2025, the petitioner has been removed from service without the issuance of any formal order of removal.

This Court is of the opinion that the petitioner's prayer may be considered by the appropriate authority, namely, the Jajigram Gram Panchayat, Jajigram, P.S. Paikar, District Birbhum.

In view of the above, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the said Gram Panchayat to consider the representation appearing at page 50 of the writ petition, notwithstanding the fact that this Court had earlier declined to entertain the petitioner's prayer for enhancement of remuneration. Accordingly, WPA 3139 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
