Report submitted by the learned Registrar (Judicial Service), High Court, Calcutta be kept with the record. The said report encloses the compliance report submitted by the learned ACJM, Bidhannagar. The reason so assigned in the compliance report is found to be just and sufficient. The present ACJM, Bidhannagar has joined very recently and was unaware regarding the factum of supply of copies of supplementary charge-sheet to the accused persons.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the next date has been fixed on 21st July, 2023. Learned trial court would see that there is compliance in respect of the report particularly sincere efforts and effective measures as has been stated therein be taken for the purpose of the present case being G.R. No.821 of 2017. Copies if any of the supplementary charge-sheet be supplied to the accused persons and steps be taken for overcoming the stage of the consideration of charges within a week from the next date so fixed for the purpose of the present case.

So far as the prayer relating to quashing of the FIR and charge-sheet, the same are not being interfered with at this stage as the complete set of copies under Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure are not available to the present petitioner. Petitioner would be at liberty to canvass such points at the stage of consideration of charges.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 442 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
