Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was falsely implicated and the petitioner is in custody for 228 days. The petitioner is not named in the first information report. The petitioner is also not named in the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that there was an illicit relationship between the petitioner and one Hasimuddin. The murder occurred due to such illicit relationship. There are materials in the case diary implicating the petitioner.

Considering the gravity of offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

The prayer for bail is rejected.

CRM (DB) 488 of 2022 is disposed of.
