AG Mr. Amitesh Banerjee, Sr. St. Counsel Ms. Ipsita Banerjee, Ms. Adreeka Pandey, Advocates ... for the State In this public interest petition, the allegation of the petitioners is that in Kharagpur Development Block-I, proper survey under the Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yajona (Gramin) Scheme has not been done and the poor persons who are eligible for the benefit of the Scheme have been left out.

Submission of learned counsel for petitioners is that the petitioners have already submitted the representation dated 21.12.2022 to respondent No.4, District Magistrate, Paschim Medinipur but the said representation has not been considered till now. The representation reveals that the petitioners have not enclosed the list of eligible persons who have been allegedly left out from the benefit of the Scheme. It has been pointed out by learned counsel for the petitioners that the list has been enclosed along with the writ petition.

WPA(P) 54 of 2023 Learned Advocate General has also submitted that if the proper representation is filed, the same will be looked into.

Hence, we dispose of the present petition permitting the petitioners to file a comprehensive representation along with the list of eligible persons before respondent No.4, District Magistrate, Paschim Medinipur who on receipt of the same will duly consider the grievance of the petitioners in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of representation.
