The Under Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs has filed a report dated 24th February, 2023 in a sealed cover. The cover has been opened and this Court has scrutinized the report carefully.

Let the report be resealed and handed over back to the Counsel for the Home Secretary.

The Central Government has not found any threat perception requiring any further security to the petitioner.

The State has filed a report of the Watgunge Police Station dated 15th February, 2023, which is kept with the record.

It appears therefrom that Watgunge Police Station has registered 75 cases against the petitioner.

It further appears therefrom that the petitioner has been convicted in some cases and appeals are pending therefrom.

In view of the aforesaid facts, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of without any further orders.

There will be no order as to costs.
