Heard learned Advocates for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is the principal accused who caused grievous injury. He does not stand on the same footing with the co-accused who has been granted pre-arrest bail.

Keeping in mind the principal role played by the petitioner in causing grievous injury, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him.
