This is second round of litigation by the accused/petitioner who is in custody in connection with NDPS Case No. 21 of 2020 since 18th March, 2021.

It is pointed out referring to the order dated 1st January, 2023 by the learned advocate for the petitioner that previously in CRR 506

of 2021 this Court passed an order dated 28th September, 2022 directing the trial Court to dispose of the matter expeditiously. It is further submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that after the said order passed by this Court being placed before the learned trial Judge he could examine only two witnesses out of six charge sheeted witnesses. Thus, only four witnesses remained to be examined.

In view of such circumstances, the learned trial Judge is directed to examine all the remaining witnesses within four months from the date of communication of this order and dispose of the same within one month thereafter.

The instant revision is, thus, disposed of.
