Mr. Datta, learned advocate for the State respondents submits that a report had been received.

It is submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that pursuant to the order of this Court dated March 1, 2023, an enquiry was held. The Pradhan of Chatuhansa Gram Panchayat had rejected the claim of the petitioner of being eligible under the PMAY(G) on the ground that the petitioner was already a beneficiary under another scheme.

This Court is of the view that the Block Development Officer, Arsha Development Block shall supply a copy of the report of the enquiry held in the presence of the petitioner, within a week from date. The petitioner will be entitled to respond to such report and raise all issues which have been raised in this writ petition, before the authority. The petitioner will be given a hearing. On the basis of the submission of the petitioner and the response of the petitioner to the report, a reasoned order shall be passed and communicated.

The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from receipt of the petitioner's response. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
