Petitioner alleges that he and her family members were assaulted, abused and threatened when they resisted the respondents from dispossessing them and to that effect, an information was furnished to the Officer-in-Charge, Kulpi Police Station on 30.01.2024.

Learned advocate for the respondent nos. 4, 5 & 6 and learned advocate for the respondent no. 7 is present who deny and dispute the contentions and claims their right in respect of the property also.

Be that as it may, the information was furnished on 30.01.2024 when the police authorities took steps and drew up proceedings under section 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Petitioner claims that she and her family members are still in possession. More than 13 months have passed since the information was furnished to the police authorities. If there are fresh issues involved, petitioner will inform the police station and the police station will as usual take steps in accordance with law.

Police authorities would continue to keep their surveillance and ensure that there is no breach of the peace and/or tranquility.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 2992 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to all the parties concerned.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
