1. Despite direction for filing affidavits NIA chose not to file any affidavit.

2. Without filing affidavit, prayer for relaxation is being opposed.

3. We find no material on record to accept the contention made on behalf of the NIA. We do not appreciate this stand of the NIA that despite direction for filing affidavit, they chose not to file any and thereafter contend that a false complaint was lodged as against one of the officers for which quashing proceeding was required to be filed.

4. There is no adverse report as on date as against the appellants before us.

5. In such circumstances, we relax the conditions of bail as prayed for by the appellants.

6. Conditions 8(i) the petitioners shall remain within the jurisdiction of New Town Police Station, Rajarhat, Kolkata, excepting for the purpose of attending court proceedings, (ii) the petitioners shall meet the Bench clerk of the Chief Judge City Sessions Court, Calcutta during office hours twice in a week until further order, and the concerned Bench clerk will record the attendance of each of the petitioners separately with endorsement and official seal, in the attendance registers to be produced by the petitioners and (iii) the petitioners shall furnish their local addresses where they will reside presently to the I.O. of the this case as well as to the Learned Trial Court are relaxed. All other conditions will remain the same.

7. Appellants will submit the details of their place of residence subsequent to the relaxation, with the jurisdictional Court within a fortnight from date. Appellants shall be present in Court on every date fixed.

8. CRAN/2/2025 is disposed of.
