Affidavit of compliance filed today is kept on record. It appears that a reasoned order has already been passed by the Block Development Officer, Burdwan-I Development Block. It is submitted that the erstwhile Block Development Officer was transferred. Hence, the delay occurred.

If the petitioner is aggrieved by the order, he has the liberty to take appropriate steps, in accordance with law. Accordingly, the contempt application is disposed of. The contempt proceedings are dropped.
