Ratna Chakraborty (Bagchi) (Via Video Conference) Mr. Biswaroop Bhattacharya Mr. Ali Ahsan Alamgir Ms. Riya Das ... for the petitioner Mr. L. K. Gupta, Sr. Advocate Mr. Subir Sanyal Mr. Ratul Biswas ... for the alleged contemnor In this contempt application one report under an affidavit (the affidavit is undated) (the report is dated 7th May, 2021), has been filed from which it appears that the petitioner herein Sri Manirul Mondal attended the interview, empanelled in the panel of 37 qualified candidates, belonging to the OBC-A category, against available vacancies. It has also been made clear in the said report of the Secretary of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education that the Board would recommend the petitioner to the Chairman, Nadia DPSC for appointment after appropriate order is passed by the Hon'ble High Court at Calcutta.
Thus, the order of the court has been complied with.
In view of the above, I pass an order for taking all steps immediately for giving appointment to the petitioner Sri Manirul Mondal and the whole process is to be completed within a period of four weeks from date.
As the report, which is kept on record, is a fair report, this contempt application is disposed of. However, the affidavit notarized by one Notary Sri Narendra Prasad Gupta does not contain any date. I request the learned advocate for the alleged contemnor to intimate Sri Narendra Prasad Gupta to come before this court, if possible in course of the day to cure the defect in the affidavit.
