Versus

The State of West Bengal and others Md. Habibur Rahman ...for the petitioner Mr. Susanta Pal, Mr. Ananda Dulal Sarkar ... for the State The writ petitioner participated in the process of selection to the post of ASHA Karmi under Sahapur II Gram Panchayat at Islampur, District - Uttar Dinajpur. She claims that she was the only candidate from the said village. Final result of the selection process has not been published according to the petitioner. representation has been made to the Authority on 02.06.2020.

Although the writ petition is otherwise barred for delay and laches, the Sub-Divisional Officer, Islampur, District - Uttar Dinajpur shall communicate a suitable decision to the petitioner on her representation and dispose of the same in accordance with the law within a period of four months from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

It is made clear that the Court has not gone into the merits of the claim of the petitioner.

None of the allegations in the writ petition shall be deemed to have been admitted by the respondents.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition is disposed of.

No order as to cost.
