This is a revision to seek an order of expeditious disposal in G.R. Case No. 1377/2015, pending in the Court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, 2nd Court at Kalyanbi, Nadia. The said case arose in connection with Chakdah P.S. Case No. 550/15 dated 23.08.2015 under section 498A/34 IPC.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner only want to secure an order of expeditious disposal of the trial in the court below. Mrs. Sahu, learned advocate appearing for the State accepts that trial could be expedited. For that, she had left the matter in the discretion of the Court. Considering the facts and circumstances, it is directed that the trial court shall proceed as expeditiously as possible with respect to the trial in G.R. Case No. 1377/15, if at all the same has not yet been completed.

With these directions, CRR 308 of 2017 is disposed of.
