The grievance of the petitioner is directed against a final order of assessment dated 27th November, 2020.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner assails the said order on the ground that there is a defect in the electric meter of the respondent Corporation.

This fact is disputed by the respondent no.1. Heard the petitioner.

In view of the statutory alternative and efficacious remedy available to the petitioner under Section 127 of the Electricity Act, 2003, I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition.

WPA 3645 of 2021 is disposed off.

Liberty is granted to the petitioner to avail the statutory alternative and efficacious remedy in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from date, if so advised.
