Heard the learned Advocates for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is the registered owner of the vehicle which was used to transport narcotics above commercial quantity i.e. 9400 bottles of phensedyl syrup. Custodial interrogation of the petitioner is necessary to unfold ramifications of the crime.

In view of the aforesaid fact and statutory restrictions under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
