The writ petitioner claims to have appeared for selection to the post of Constable (GD) conducted by the Staff Selection Commission in the year 2012. Admittedly, the writ petitioner came to know of his non-selection in the year 2012 itself.

The petitioner has not chosen to represent before the authority under the Rules in terms of paragraph 16 of the communication dated 17th October, 2012.

The writ petition has been affirmed on 2nd February, 2021.

This Court is of the view that cause of action of the petitioner, if at all and if any, are hopelessly barred by delay and laches.

The writ petition cannot be entertained.

Accordingly, the instant writ petition is hereby dismissed.

No order as to costs.
