Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocates appearing for the petitioner and the respondent nos. 6 to 11.

The petitioner claims that he has purchased the property, but he is being threatened by the private respondent nos. 6 to 11. To that effect, the petitioner informed the local police station.

However, the police authorities did not take any effective steps and as such, the petitioner has been compelled to approach this Court.

State has submitted a report which reflects that the police authorities on receipt of information have drawn up proceedings under Section 126 of the BNSS and have kept a strict vigil.

Learned advocate for the private respondent nos. 6 to 11 submits that unnecessarily the respondent nos. 6 to 11 are being attempted to be foisted with criminal cases and in the original property, the petitioner happens to be a co-sharer. Having regard to the nature of the dispute and steps taken by the police authorities, I am of the view that the remedies lie before the civil court. As such, the police authorities would only ensure that the petitioner is not disturbed and/or threatened. To that effect, the police authorities would keep a strict vigil and ensure that no breach of the peace or tranquility takes place and/or any untoward incident results because of the inimical relationship existing between the petitioner and the private respondents.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 3547 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
