Mr. Ganguly, learned senior advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that a supplementary affidavit has been taken out to bring on record that the petitioner no. 3(in

the revisional application), Navzar P. Dotivala has expired in the meantime.

Learned advocates appearing for both the sides draws the attention of this court to the joint compromise petition wherein the parties submitted that they have amicably settled and resolved the dispute. To that effect, the learned advocate appearing for the complainant and the signatories in CRAN 1 of 2021 files a photocopy of the demand draft bearing no. 331791 drawn on HDFC Bank Limited, Stephen House Branch, 4 B B D Bag(E), Kolkata. Let the photocopy of the demand draft be kept with the record.

Mr. Anwar Hossain, learned advocate appearing for the State has also submitted a report which was prepared by the Inspector-in-Charge, Bally Police Station, Howrah. Let the report submitted by the learned advocate for the State be kept with the record.

Having considered the subject-matter of the case and the subsequent compromise arrived at between the parties and the nature of the allegations, I am of the view that further continuance of the proceedings would be redundant in the changed circumstances.

Accordingly, Bally P. S. Case No. 210 of 2002 dated 07-11-2002 under Sections 120B/406/411/410/420 of the

Indian Penal Code and all orders passed therein are hereby quashed.

As such, the revisional application being CRR 218 of 2003 is allowed.

All connected applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.

Department is directed to communicate this order to the learned court below.
