....petitioners.
Mr. Amitabha Karmakar ...for the petitioners.
Mr. Saswata Gopal Mukherji Mr. Partha Pratim Das Mrs. Manasi Roy ...for the State.
Petitioners seek anticipatory bail.
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioners were not named in the First Information Report. The police filed charge-sheet and therefore the necessity of detention of the petitioners are not required.
Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the contents in the case dairy. She submits that there are eyewitnesses who saw the petitioners being involved in the incident. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.
C.R.M. (A) 864 of 2022 is, thus, dismissed.
