It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that she has not been named in the FIR or compliant.

Counsel for the State produces the case diary and submits that the petitioner has been included in the charge sheet as an accused based on the statements of the victim recorded under section 164 Cr.P.C.

It has been stated by the victim that the petitioner who is the mother of one of the accused persons often threatened the victim with dire consequences if she named her son in the investigation.

Having considered the materials in the case diary and having heard the arguments of the parties this court is not inclined to entertain the application for anticipatory bail. Accordingly, CRM 1397 of 2021 stands rejected. (Biswajit Basu, J.) (Rajasekhar Mantha, J.)
