Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner was falsely implicated. The petitioner was sought to be robed in on the basis of the extra-judicial confession made by the co-accused.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, there are several criminal antecedents of the petitioner. The jewellery, which was taken away, was recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as transpiring from the materials in the case diary and considering the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

In such circumstances, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (DB) 503 of 2022 is dismissed.
