Versus

The State of West Bengal and others Records reflect that the writ petition appeared on 29.03.2010, 01.04.2010 and 01.07.2010. Records further reflect that the petitioner was reluctant to present his case before this Hon'ble Court on the respective dates when the writ petition appeared.

The subject matter of the writ petition relates to inaction of the police authorities. However, more than 14 years have passed since the initiation of the writ petition and the initial grievance expressed was for non-registration of the FIR.

I am of the view that for lapse of time and no persuasion being made at the inception by the petitioner, at this belated stage no interference is called for.

Accordingly, WPA 1976 of 2010 is dismissed.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently dismissed.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
