Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 89 days. Other co-accused were granted statutory bail. Since the police filed charge-sheet further detention of the petitioner is not required. Learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that the petitioner is the principal accused. He dealt the fatal blow. Moreover, the petitioner was absconding for almost two years. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as transpiring from the materials in the case diary and considering the long absconsion of the petitioner, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner. CRM (DB) 505 of 2022 is rejected.
