Petitioners submit victim was alive but had not divulged the names of the petitioners before the medical officer. Accordingly, they pray for anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate for the State and the de-facto complainant oppose the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Statement of the victim's daughter show petitioners participated in the assault. Petitioners had absconded and proclamation has been issued against them. Prayer for pre-arrest bail of co-accused viz., Abbas Uddin Molla had been turned down by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court. 4.

Under such circumstances and in view of gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 5.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.
