1. Petitioner submits victim did not complain of rape. There is slow progress in trial. He renews his bail prayer.

2. Learned lawyer for the State submits bail prayer of the petitioner has been rejected earlier on merits. 10 out of 13 witnesses have already been examined.

3. We have considered the materials on record. Allegations involve penetrative sexual assault of the victim. Victim has been examined. Trial has substantially progressed. Bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected earlier on merits.

4. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

5. Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected.

6. Trial court is requested to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date.
