Petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities and to that effect representations were made on 08.11.2024, 04.02.2025 and 07.02.2025.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that over the complaint of the petitioner, English Bazar PS Case No. 257/2025 dated 14.02.2025 was registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of BNS against the respondent nos. 4 and 5.

Having considered that the police authorities at the relevant point of time have taken effective steps, I am of the view that if the petitioner is aggrieved by further action of the police authorities, petitioner would be at liberty to canvas

the issues before the jurisdictional Magistrate in seisin of the issue.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 3270 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.
