Mr. Mitra, Ld. Sr. Govt. advocate appearing for the alleged contemnors by placing before this Court an affidavit affirmed by the Assistant Engineer, PWD submits that the order dated 15th March 2019 has already been complied with. He submits that the respondents who are arrayed as alleged contemnor nos. 1 and 2, are in no way connected either with the writ petition nor is any direction upon them to ensure compliance of the order. He, therefore, seeks of deletion of their names.

Having heard the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties and taking note of the fact that the order has been complied with, I am of the view that the issue raised by Mr. Mitra has become academic at this stage.

Accordingly, by accepting the affidavit of compliance and retaining the same on record, the instant contempt application being CPAN 101 of 2020 stands disposed of. 4.

All parties shall act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from this Court's official website.
