He submits that there is little progress in the matter from the date of last rejection of bail by this court in 2020. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He submits that 48 pieces of FICNs of denomination of Rs. 2,000/ each was recovered from the petitioner. We have considered the materials on record.

Allegations are grave and discloses involvement of the petitioner in dealing in FICNs. In view of the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. However, as the petitioner has suffered protracted incarceration, we request the trial court to conclude the trial at an early date preferably within six months from the next date fixed for recording evidence without

granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.

The application being CRM(DB) 515 of 2022 is disposed of.
