Petitioner contends he is in custody for six months. He has been falsely implicated. Accordingly, he prays for bail. 2.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner and others had indiscriminately fired resulting in gunshot injuries on a number of persons. They were admitted to hospital. Delay in the matter is due to abscondence of coaccused. 4.

In view of the aforesaid circumstances and nature of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
