It is submitted by the learned advocate representing the respondent no.4 that the entire payment being the matter of challenge in this writ petition has been made to the workman being the writ petitioner. It is submitted that the petitioner has received a sum of Rs. 2,79,000/- as full and final settlement of his dues under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 and the Central Rules framed thereunder. A receipt dated 6th April, 2023 and a photocopy of the demand draft dated 5th April, 2023 for Rs. 2,79,000/- placed before the Court are taken on record.

Although the petitioner remains unrepresented but on taking note of the documents placed before the Court the matter is taken up for consideration. In view of the aforesaid, nothing further, therefor, remains to be adjudicated in the writ petition and the same is accordingly disposed of without any further order. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
